Can you clarify what you mean by “it does not work?” Did you attempt to plug in a ext4 disk, or are you basing this off of the message shown in the status page that you copied into the title?

On macOS Tahoe and later, the app shows a green check once the extension is active. Due to macOS limitations, the status can’t be shown in macOS Sequoia, but this doesn’t affect mounting functionality. The message you copied doesn’t indicate that anything is wrong.

If you did attempt to plug in an ext4 disk and it doesn't mount, please provide more information:

1. Unplug the disk from your Mac (if already plugged in), and plug it back in
2. After plugging in the disk, open Terminal.app and paste in this command

sudo log show --last 5m --predicate "(subsystem in { 'com.apple.FSKit', 'com.apple.LiveFS', 'com.kpchew.ExtendFS.ext4Extension' }) || (process in { 'diskarbitrationd', 'fskitd', 'fskit_agent' })"

3. Attach or paste the contents of the log here

Based on the screenshots you sent in the original message, that’s not what it’s saying. It’s saying that the status won’t show up in the app, but as long as the extension switch is enabled in System Settings (which it is in your screenshot), that step is complete.
