Wanted change

In some countries, images may be inaccessible due to network environment issues. Could you add a proxy, such as HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5?

Given you posted your logs here linuxserver/docker-baseimage-selkies#161, it looks like github gave you a bunch of 404s when trying to ingest icons and autostart scripts.

Do you have access to stuff like https://raw.githubusercontent.com/linuxserver/sealskin-apps/refs/heads/master/autostart/lollypop-wayland just from your PC or server ?

The system of the app store pulls from public URLs as defined in the apps list:
https://github.com/linuxserver/sealskin-apps/blob/master/apps.yml

Again here can you access stuff like https://raw.githubusercontent.com/linuxserver/docker-templates/master/linuxserver.io/img/azahar-logo.png .

Once ingested though they are sent by the server to the client, they are cached there.
I do not have an idea of how to work around the server not being able to ingest URLs from the app store like that.

If I don't use a proxy, I won't be able to access the addresses you mentioned.
