In the table of contents of MATLAB Coding Guidelines (https://github.com/mathworks/MATLAB-Coding-Guidelines/blob/main/MATLAB-Coding-Guidelines.md), all the "General" links land on the same section.

@dgarriso Dave, could you address? The issue is that sections with the same names all have the same anchor. A workaround is to define custom tags in the markdown using HTML, e.g. . Put them on the line before the section header. Here's an example.
