Unable to get firmware version as guest

Hello
MC app allows to view repeater firmware information even if logged on as guest - under "Guest Tools > Owner Info"
But when trying to use "ver" as guest I get no response and if I try req_owner as guest, it either shows owner info contacts (if set) or "no owner info"
But does not display firmware version.
Guest Tools in the MC app shows both - firmware + owner contacts (if set)
Is there a way to get firmware version as guest via cli? If not, is it possible to add?
