Managed Identity Auth for Cosmos DB for Deployment and Updates to the Application

I have been following the manual steps to build out Simple Chat Instances, then using vscode to push the code to the App Service with everything on Private Endpoints. I have run into the following error which prevents the app from starting or causes issues with intial deployment as it can't make the cosmos db or the collections in the Cosmos DB account using Managed Identity. I have seen this on initial deployment as well as updates. I switch to Key based auth and it works just fine.

This is the RBAC Role inside of Cosmos I assigned using PowerShell

This is intentional and not due to private endpoints but due to permissions on the data plane of the managed identity. Please use the cosmosDb-postDeployPerms.sh to update those permissions.
