Bug: On macOS, pCloud Drive version 4 exhibits extremely high CPU usage when connected to a VPN. #7
Description
Hi all,
Since version 3.16.0, with the new WolfSSL implementation, Mac OS devices connected to a VPN, regardless of the protocol, experience extremely high CPU usage. This causes MacBook fans to run at full speed, followed by the pCloud Drive app freezing.
Workaround: To mitigate the issue, force quit the pCloud Drive app, close the VPN application, then relaunch pCloud Drive.
Steps to reproduce:
1-Open your VPN application.
2-Connect to any server using any protocol.
Additional complication: Debug mode cannot be enabled, as the app throws an error and fails to activate it.
Steps To Reproduce
Install Pcloud Drive, 3.16.0 or 4.0.0 and run it.
Connect to VPN.
