Mission 3 alternative solution

Hi,
thanks for the wonderful game.

Some of my students got stuck on mission 3, because some of them were using the two commands:
cd ~
cd Castle/Main_building/Throne_room/

Even though it reaches the goal in two steps gsh check is telling, that the mission hasn't been completed. Using "cd " to go back to the home is working. Maybe you can add this as an alternative solution, even though the "~" is unnecessary?

Thanks for the report.

I am ambivalent about that. I cannot think of a situation where cd ~ would be preferable to cd, which is probably why I didn't accept it. (Another solution would be cd "$HOME", which is even more verbose.)

Maybe a solution would be to have a specific error message in your case, along the lines

your first command can be shorter

that sounds good to me. Then the students know that the answer is working but they need to improve it.
