The PQCA is calling for proposals & mentors for projects for summer 2026 (mentorships running June - August).

2026 Summer Mentorship Timeline

CALL FOR MENTORS

• February 2 - March 13: Community members submit mentorship project proposals
• March 16 - March 27: Mentorship project proposal review by Technical Advisory Council (mentors or proposal submitters may be asked to clarify or address questions raised by the TAC)

APPLICATION PROCESS

• March 30 - May 8: Mentee application period on LFX Mentorship
• May 11 - May 22: Mentee application review and applicant interview
• May 25 - May 29: Selected mentee notifications

2026 Summer Program Schedule

Phase	Dates	Details
Onboarding with Mentor	June 1–5	Review materials & develop project plan
Project Working Period	June 8 – August 28	~30 hours/week expected
Midterm Evaluation	July 13–17	Mentors to submit evaluations
Final Evaluation	August 24–28	Mentors to submit evaluations
Blog Post Submission	August 28 - September 11	We ask that all mentees showcase their contributions through a blog post on the PQCA website at the end of the mentorship.
