Simulation selection interface's state should be saved

Add a way to keep the state of the simulation selection page in memory, so that accessing back from another page sets you to the last folder you opened for example.

Description

Why is this needed?

When using the simulation selection interface, pressing reload, or going to another page may reset the state of the navigation of the user. This may be annoying when navigating a lot between simulations.
