Command "src" not found

I recently install rector on a project following readme instructions

I run vendor/bin/rector to create config file
Then I run vendor/bin/rector src --dry-run as it is in readme but I got this

Then I tried vendor/bin/rector --dry-run and that was fine

Did i miss something in my install or configuration ? Or did the command change ?

If you provide a directory/file you must use the process command like this:

vendor/bin/rector process src --dry-run

If you always just want to check the src directory, define it via the rector.php config file:

use Rector\Config\RectorConfig;

return RectorConfig::configure()
    /* ... */
    ->withPaths([
        __DIR__ . '/src',
    ]);

The path should work without explicit command name as well.
I think there will be bug a in path resolution on Windows.

@TomasVotruba this because the src path not exists, if exists, it should work, it has e2e test for it

Basically, if your application doesn't have src directory, the src will be marked as "command", so if you only have directory named app, run to app:

vendor/bin/rector app

as app is a directory in your project.

I see, it seems we need to define allowed implicit commands:

["process", "help", "list", "worker", "completion"]

etc early validation.
