This design seems like a regression in readability and structure.

Some quick notes when going through since I've last seen the docs:

1. The green and blurple creates weird levels of light and contrast, and is not a good color combo
2. The search bar is especially poorly contrasted
3. The Ask AI button should probably not be a lighthouse in the top right corner
4. I'd use an orange for focus state, not blurple
5. The side nav should be a bit wider on this size screen so the content to read is closer to the center of the screen. See how sites like https://nextjs.org/docs, https://remix.run/docs/en/main/discussion/react-router, and https://posthog.com/docs/getting-started/send-events all center the content in the screen for the reader
6. Lacks indication that the sidenav is scrollable

I'm sure I'd have a few more points if I spent some more time with it.

I thought the old theme was quite good actually.
