Does nothing.

Downloaded and installed it and nothing happens. Icon is there, but when I click on it nothing happens. I uninstalled it and re-downloaded it from the Microsoft store (both times), re-installed it and the same thing happened. It looks like it has a beautiful interface from the images in the Microsoft store so I'm really hoping to get it working!

To help me identify the cause, could you check a few things for me?

• Task Manager: Open it (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and see if "CopyPaste" or "copypaste.exe" appears in the process list after you try to open it.
• System Tray: Is the icon you see on the Desktop/Start Menu, or is it in the notification area (bottom-right corner, near the clock)? Please click the small ^ arrow near the clock to see if the CopyPaste icon is hidden there.
• Keyboard Shortcut: Try pressing Win + Alt + V. Does any window or interface appear when you do this?
• App Data Folders: Since you installed it from the Store, could you check if this folder exists? (You can paste this in File Explorer): %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\ (Look for a folder containing "CopyPaste" or "rgdevment.CopyPaste")

If the folder exists, please let me know if there is a LocalCache or LocalState folder inside with any log files.

+1 on this exact same issue. Same thing happened when installing v2.2.2, and latest version from the Windows Store.

Hi everyone, thank you both for your reports. I've spent the last week trying to replicate this error on our end without success, but we are actively working on it.

We are planning to release version v2.2.4 (both Standalone and on the Microsoft Store) between Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. We've added some new utilities, shortcuts, and fixed several bugs. However, I can't be 100% certain that it will solve this specific startup issue for your environments.

In this upcoming release, we also added a new in-app section to easily export error logs. However, since the app isn't opening for you, you likely won't be able to access this menu. >
Because of this, it would be a massive help to us if you could manually extract the log files and share them here so we can finally understand what's causing this silent crash.

You can find the logs by opening the File Explorer and pasting the following paths depending on your version:

• Microsoft Store version: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\ (Look for the rgdevment.CopyPaste folder, and check inside LocalState or LocalCache).
• Standalone version: (Recuerda poner aquí la ruta exacta, por ej: %APPDATA%\CopyPaste o %LOCALAPPDATA%\CopyPaste)
