Can't use control+command+D as a Keyboard Shortcut

Multitouch 1.28 doesn’t let me set control+command+D as a Keyboard Shortcut.
I disabled the system-provided “Look Up in Dictionary” shortcut, but that didn’t change anything.
Is Multitouch intentionally blocking this combination? control+command+S and control+command+F work fine.

BTW, BetterTouchTool lets me hook this key combination, but their “Maximize window to {left|right} half” is inferior to yours (it leaves too much border).

To achieve this in Multitouch currently, you'll have to bypass the UI and use a Terminal command. Here it is for the left half window action:

defaults write com.brassmonkery.Multitouch leftHalf -dict-add keyCode -int 2 modifierFlags -int 1310720

Of course, it might take a little effort to get the configuration you want set up if it's not a window action, since that could be handled differently by the app. Let me know what you want it assigned to and I can give you a Terminal command for it. It's also possible to set a different shortcut in the UI where desired, and investigate defaults read com.brassmonkery.Multitouch to get what you want.

I'm guessing that macOS still intercepts that shortcut, even if it's not set up there. BTT is likely listening to keystrokes a little differently than the shortcut recorder used by Multitouch. I'll add this to my backlog to investigate further.

Thanks, the Terminal command worked great!

BTW, once ⌃⌘D is mapped, the Multitouch Settings window will actually pop up "The key combination ⌃⌘D is already in use in this app" if I try to use it for another Window Management shortcut, so the key combination seems to get propagated to your Settings page even if I can't set it there.
