Branch creation in sub-splits #1886
Description
Currently, we are using the symplify/monorepo-split-github-action action for sub-splitting each package into an individual repository.
Unfortunately, there is a known issue with this workflow action that causes branch creation on these sub-split repositories to fail.
I believe this is going to be an issue for the version branches. Ideally, each version should also have a branch on the sub-split.
I believe it would be a good time to evaluate whether it is worth forking the existing workflow action and patching this or whether we bring this functionality in-house.
