<!--
A CSS3 demo that displays a thermometer (without using images).

Nested divs with background colors and rounded borders are used to "draw" the
thermometer onto a page. Any value from 0 to 100 can be rendered by setting
the percentage height of the colored div.

The body font size is defined using viewport units, allowing the page to be
responsive to changes in the device size. Child elements are defined using
conventional "em" units which represent a percentage of the current font size.

Mobile phones, tablets and desktops all utilize different viewport dimensions.
By defining a page relative to the viewport, with child elements relative to
the page, multiple devices can be supported from a single layout.

Never use a viewport unit alone, otherwise the ability to zoom on text will be
lost (since the font size will always be related to the viewport). Instead,
start with a fixed font size and then add the viewport value using the "calc"
function.

CSS "@media" rules can be used to further optimize the layout. Always embrace
the Zen of Fluidity.
