How to use --theme

I am trying to use the --theme option.
I cant see any error but i cant see any visual difference.
Where is my error?

api2html -o ./dist/api.html --languages http,javascript,javascript--nodejs --theme idea ./dist/api.yaml

Yes.
When i use another theme e.g. idea i expected the rendered code to have a white background.

Using api2html (the command above) the code seems to be still rendered as 'darkula'.

Or do i missunderstand its meaning?
