Summary
Test real containerd v2.3.5 dockerFetcher against Gantry; verify mid-body offset retry without origin prefix replay; verify pre-header 503 selects the next registry host; generated body avoids large fixture allocation. This is one commit.
Scope
Test-only plus tracking status; the measured 128 GiB cluster run remains manual follow-up.
Validation
Integration tests repeated 20 times, full mirror tests, lint.
