The embedded FALLBACK snapshot in gh-dl/dashboard.html still reports the old Bearsampp
repository and 5,924 downloads instead of the updated snapshot values. When downloads.json cannot
be fetched, including file:// previews and offline use, the dashboard displays the stale
repository, totals, date and series.
