- 4 districts drawn as clickable overlays — Bluelake, Tower, Protector's Enclave and the New District — each with a researched write-up of what it is and what happened to it.
- 42 landmarks with lore: Castle Never, the Moonstone Mask, the Cloak Tower, the Beached Leviathan, Neverdeath, the sealed Chasm, the three bridges, and more.
- 9 lost quarters — the pre-1451 DR districts (City Core, Merchant Quarter, Peninsula District, Blacklake, the Arcanist Quarter, Beggar's Nest) mapped onto where they used to stand. Off by default; toggle the layer on.
- Semantic search. Ask for what you need, not what it's called — "a place to buy
weapons" finds Shining Knight Arms and Armor and the Trade of Blades; "secret
meeting of the Harpers" finds the House of a Thousand Faces. Every location is
tagged against a 60-concept vocabulary, and a synonym lexicon maps everyday phrasing
onto it. Matches are ranked with IDF so rare concepts (
weapons) outweigh common ones (trade), and each result shows the tags it matched on. - Your own waypoints. Double-click anywhere to drop one. Name it, write notes,
pick one of 16 icons and 7 colours. Drag pins to move them. Everything is stored in
your browser's
localStorage, and there's JSON export/import so you can back it up or hand your notes to another DM. - A measuring tape. Press M and click along a route — it reports feet, miles and 5-ft squares using the map's own scale (311 px = 1000 ft).
