Inline comments:
Review comments at @docs/configuration.md:
- Line 16: Update the Local row in the configuration table to clarify that Local
mode requires no Cortex account but configured providers may be remote; remove
the claim that everything runs in the app.
Review comments at @docs/getting-started.md:
- Line 22: Update the headless Linux startup instruction in the getting-started
documentation to provide an X server, using xvfb-run or documenting the Xvfb
prerequisite; do not imply that setting DISPLAY alone starts one.
Review comments at @README.md:
- Line 40: Update the README status wording to clarify that the unbuilt item is
the Plugins and skills management screen, not the bundled summarize skill.
Preserve the status of the other listed items.
- Line 60: Remove the --no-sandbox switch from the headless Linux launch
commands in both documentation sites, including the command shown in the README,
so Electron starts with Chromium sandboxing enabled.

What changed
Rewrites README.md in the style of opencode: banner, alpha warning, install, quick start, configuration, architecture, development, FAQ, contributing, security, community, license. Adds docs/README.md (index with alpha notice), getting-started, configuration, troubleshooting and faq. Adds alpha notes to CONTRIBUTING.md and SECURITY.md, bug and feature issue templates, and removes one dead evidence link in docs/connection-modes.md.
Banner: docs/assets/banner.png (full macOS window, 1024x687, 89 KB) and docs/assets/banner-crop.png. It is a native screencapture on mac-live (macOS 26.6.2) of the real packaged build code (Electron 44) in the live Work Bot thread (route #/work-task, BotThread: Nova mascot, iMessage-style bubbles, typing dots), dark theme, English. The Bot thread is live code that needs a Cortex Cloud sign-in, so the main-process /api/work-bot responses were stubbed with demo data (fake Bot Nova, made-up messages). No keys, emails or private paths. The Mac temp dir and processes were cleaned up.
