The kernel-backed spec for method-level once-only/replay reactor handlers timed out waiting for initial live-event catch-up on CI run 36785552535 (31.2s against a 30s budget), while every sibling kernel-backed spec in the same job finished in under 8s. A retry of the same job with no code change passed cleanly (attempt 2), and the reactor dispatch/replay-routing logic (getReactorEventTypes/selectReactorHandler) matches the test's expectations on inspection — so this is CI-timing jitter in the test's polling budget under concurrent kernel load, not a product defect. Widen the spec's polling window and the shared integration hookTimeout/ testTimeout to give it room.
