CyberLauncher is a full-screen application launcher that turns finding and opening things on Windows into a fast, keyboard-driven workflow. Search applications and files, organize favorites and categories, summon the launcher with a global hotkey or hot corners, and automate recurring launches with the scheduler. Integrated system monitoring, command tools, extensive appearance controls, and a sleek glass interface make it both a practical Start Menu alternative and a customizable desktop command center. Built with Electron + React + TypeScript.
Free and open source (GPLv3): no ads, no tracking, and no data collection. Just enjoy it.
CyberLauncher streamlines app launching from the ground up: type to search, hotkey to summon, click to launch. No more digging through nested folders or scrolling through cluttered menus.

Ctrl+Kfor instant launcher command execution and quick navigation - System-Wide File Search: Hybrid indexing engine finds files, folders, and apps across all drives
- UWP / Windows Store Support: Natively scan, import, and launch UWP & MSIX apps via AUMID
- Cyber Terminal: Type

- Global Shortcut: Show/hide with a customizable keyboard shortcut (default:
Alt+Shift+L) - Hot Corners (Display-Aware): Activate the launcher by moving your cursor to any screen corner. Includes smart full-screen suppression: automatically ignores triggers on displays playing full-screen videos or games, while other monitors continue responding normally.
- Multi-Monitor Support: Choose which display CyberLauncher appears on (including "Follow cursor")
- Auto-Hide on Blur: Launcher hides automatically when switching to another window
- Shared refined avatar: A layered design with subtle reflections and focus/scan hover reactions appears in the launcher and floating desktop notices.
- Typed messages: Contextual launch feedback, system notices, scheduled-task countdowns and tips appear progressively, with the chest equalizer active while writing.
- Personalize the experience: Enter your name directly in its invitation, choose a starting corner, drag it, set an interaction level and schedule quiet hours. Settings lets you reopen an empty-name invitation.
- Calmer behavior: Varied idle expressions, occasional useful status screens, gentle sleep and contextual returns. CyberBot retires after speaking in dialogs or the terminal and returns after a short delay when they close.
- Optional companion: CyberBot uses built-in contextual messages. Disable it through Settings or its quick toggle; a visible bot gives a short farewell. Backup banners can show notices in its place.

Windows may show a SmartScreen warning the first time you run the CyberLauncher installer: this is an unsigned hobby app, so Windows hasn't built reputation for the file yet. This is expected; the source is public so you can inspect exactly what it does.
To continue:
See how to run the installer (step by step)
Windows shows this warning for any installer without a paid code-signing certificate; it does not mean the file is unsafe. Do not click "Don't run":
- Run the installer. Windows may show the blue "Windows protected your PC" dialog.
- Click the small More info link.
- Click Run anyway. The installer starts normally.
You can verify the file independently: compare the SHA with the GitHub release, scan it on VirusTotal, or build from source. More details: SmartScreen guide on the website.
