Setting target data
Prior to using the attack table itself, you have to create an attack entry via an identification tab. See this page for instructions.
Attack table allows to choose between sets of units for each numeric data column of it. You can change those the way it will be easier for use with your game and party to communicate. Changing the units of a column will not change the internally stored data and will update the displayed values accordingly.

A regular parameter cell consists of a combobox to choose active definition and an input field to display and input values. Each parameter has an Arbitrary definition which stands for the user being able to input its value directly. Other definitions make the input field read-only to display the calculated value based on other parameters. Hovering over a definition option in the expanded combobox will show a brief description of the definition.

If the value you input could not be parsed as a valid value, the input field will be lit with yellow background.

Angle on Bow is one of the numeric parameters of an attack target. In order to reflect a "typical" AoB TDC dial

the parameter cells of AoB are coupled with a side/quarter selector. The angle values displayed are angles "from bow" within 0 to 0.5 of full turn, either left or right of bow - depending on what side or quarter is selected. AoB 30 port:

AoB 30 stb:

When the AoB cell is in arbitrary definition mode, the selector switches between sides. If you switch to a calculated definition that relies on other parameters and defines the angle within an AoB quarter, the selector will determine for which quarter the value is calculated.

Every parameter cell that has at least one arbitrary and one calculated definition has an "extra" option in the definition selection list. Save to Arbitrary copies the calculated value over to the arbitrary definition and switches the cell to it.

Apart from being able to input the reference absolute length and height directly as numbers, you can also click the ship image in the attack table row to open a special dialog.

The ship is outlined in a rectangle with 2 vertical and 2 horizontal lines (displayed to make sure the app sees the bow, stern, highest tips and waterline correctly). The other 2 lines follow your cursor. Move them to delimit the reference dimensions you want and mouseclick to stop tracking your cursor. If you want to adjust the position of the reference dimensions crosshair, click the image again. Once you set the cursor to delimit the reference points you wish, use the 4 buttons on the right of the image to select which dimensions to set into attack table data. This will both change the arbitrary value of height/length and set the corresponding table cell to use it.
