Explanation of Change
We choose the camera format by aspect ratio and resolution, and never look at autofocus. When several formats match equally well we just take whatever the device happened to list first, which can easily be a contrast-detection one. Contrast autofocus hunts back and forth to find focus and it's at its worst up close, which is exactly how people photograph receipts.
So once the format is chosen, we now look for an identical one, same dimensions and same frame rate, that uses phase-detection, and use that instead. Nothing else about the format changes.
This has to run after selection rather than as another
useCameraFormatfilter. The filters are weighted by position, so adding a fourth one reshuffles the first three and changes which format wins before autofocus even comes into it.Android isn't affected. Vision Camera reports all of its focus-capable cameras as contrast-detection, so there's never a better one to switch to.
