Bumps rust_xlsxwriter from 0.99.1 to 0.100.0.

Changelog

Sourced from rust_xlsxwriter's changelog.

[0.100.0] - 2026-10-17

Changed

  • Breaking change: The Workbook::add_worksheet_with_constant_memory() and Workbook::add_worksheet_with_low_memory() methods now return a Result instead of panicking if a temporary file can't be created, for example if the temporary directory isn't writable. A new XlsxError::TempFileError error was added for this. The tempfile is also only created when it is needed rather than when the worksheet is created, and standard worksheets no longer create one. See [Issue #195].

    [Issue #195]: jmcnamara/rust_xlsxwriter#195

  • Updated the [Performance] docs with new benchmark results. The standard rust_xlsxwriter is now around 1.6 times faster than the C version, mainly due to performance improvements in the zip crate and its default zlib-rs backend.

Added

  • Updated the zip dependency to v9.0. All previous v8.x zip versions were yanked upstream. See [Issue #205].

    [Issue #205]: jmcnamara/rust_xlsxwriter#205

  • Added the Workbook::set_zip_compression_level() method to set the compression level of the xlsx zip container in the range 1 to 9. The default level is 6. Lower levels are faster and higher levels produce smaller files. See the "Zip compression level" section of the [Performance] docs for a comparison of the levels. See [Issue #197].

    [Issue #197]: jmcnamara/rust_xlsxwriter#197 [Performance]: https://docs.rs/rust_xlsxwriter/latest/rust_xlsxwriter/performance/index.html

  • Added the Workbook::set_calculation_mode() method and CalculationMode enum to set the formula calculation mode of a workbook to Automatic (the default), Manual or Partial. See [Issue #206].

    [Issue #206]: jmcnamara/rust_xlsxwriter#206

  • Added the Worksheet::set_hidden_zeroes() method to hide zero values in worksheet cells. This is the equivalent of turning off the Excel option "Show a zero in cells that have zero value". See [Issue #201].
