Just follow these steps, and you'll be up and running in no time.
Before you download UniHand, ensure your computer meets the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, Mac OS X 10.12 or later, or a recent Linux distribution.
- RAM: At least 4 GB.
- Storage: At least 1 GB of free space.
- Graphics: A compatible graphics card supporting OpenGL 3.3 or later.
To download the latest version of UniHand, click the button below to visit the Releases page. Here, you will find the most recent version and its respective files.
Once you're on the Releases page, you will see a list of available versions. The latest release will typically be at the top. Look for the version number (for example, v1.0.0). This number shows which version is the most current.
- Click on the version you want to download.

Once the installation is complete, find UniHand in your applications list (or desktop) and double-click to run it.
When you first launch UniHand, ensure you have a compatible camera, as it captures egocentric views. Make sure the camera is connected and recognized by your system.
Upon opening, you will see a settings menu. Here, you can:
- Select camera input.
- Choose resolution settings.
- Adjust motion tracking sensitivity.
To use UniHand:
- Point your camera at the area where you will conduct the gesture.
- Select the mode you wish to use: real-time tracking or saved video input.
- Start motion tracking by clicking the "Start" button on the interface.
UniHand will show visual predictions based on hand movements in real time. You can view the forecasts on the screen. This will help you understand how the software interprets your motions.
- Camera Not Detected: Ensure that your camera drivers are installed and that the camera is properly connected.
- Performance Lag: If the application runs slowly, try lowering the resolution settings or closing other applications to free up resources.
- Installation Errors: Make sure to follow the installation steps precisely. If problems persist, try re-downloading the installer.
