TestReference/brightnessTemperaturegroup toabi_g16_obs_2019042306_m.nc4andahi_himawari8_obs_2019042306_m.nc4: CRTM v3.2.0 H(x) computed with the re-rolled 2026-08-06 coefficients from the unchanged geovals.GsiHofXis retained unchanged as the historical record.Purely additive and inert on develop — nothing references the new group until the companion ufo change (JCSDA-internal/ufo PR against
feature/btj_REL-3.2.0, linked below) repointsopr_abi_ahi_crtmfromGsiHofXtoTestReference, which only makes sense once CRTM v3.2.0 is in the build. Merging this first is safe in any order relative to ufo develop.Shift vs GsiHofX for the record: AHI is sub-mK on ch 8–16 with only the 3.9 µm ch 7 moving (−0.04 ± 0.08 K, max 0.33 K); ABI shifts on all channels (largest ch 10: −0.57 ± 0.36 K, max 1.82 K) — the signature of the ABI coefficient refresh in the v3.2.0 tarball rather than a physics change.
These two files are used only by
opr_abi_ahi_crtm.Part of the unified Radiance operator effort: JCSDA-internal/ufo#4306 (tracking issue, with motivation and history).
