[Project] Establish SightAdapt public presence and discoverability #95
Description
Objective
Create a consistent, searchable and publicly documented presence for SightAdapt across GitHub, the product website, search engines, Windows package distribution and selected open-source directories.
Canonical URLs
- Repository:
https://github.com/KeyffMS/SightAdapt - GitHub Pages build/origin and fallback:
https://keyffms.github.io/SightAdapt/ - Canonical public product URL:
https://aiteracja.pl/sightadapt/ - Optional convenience redirect:
https://sightadapt.aiteracja.pl/
The product section under aiteracja.pl is canonical. The optional subdomain must permanently redirect to the canonical /sightadapt/ path and must not host a separately indexed copy.
Success criteria
- The exact product name
SightAdaptreturns authoritative project-controlled results in major search engines. -
https://aiteracja.pl/sightadapt/resolves over HTTPS and serves the complete product site. - The optional subdomain redirects permanently to the canonical path.
- Repository, site, releases and external directory entries use one consistent name, description, icon and canonical URL.
- Public pages provide a dated record of product use, releases and ownership.
- Download links resolve to verified GitHub Release artifacts.
- Search indexing, structured data and sitemaps are configured.
- Windows users can discover the package through WinGet after legal packaging requirements are complete.
- External listings remain synchronized with the canonical GitHub Release.

Execution rule
An issue may be prepared earlier when useful, but it should not be treated as complete until its own dependencies and production-verification criteria are satisfied. Downstream work must consume the canonical decisions from #96 and #124 rather than redefining product identity, copy or canonical URLs.
Delivery model
This issue is the repository-native project tracker. Every deliverable is represented by an independent issue with its own acceptance criteria and dependencies, so the complete set can later be imported into a native GitHub Projects board without restructuring.
Constraints
- Prefer free services and open-source tooling.
- Do not introduce analytics or tracking without completing the privacy review in [Privacy/GDPR] Publish a privacy notice and support-data handling policy #86.
- Do not publish a new official binary package until the legal packaging gates in [Legal/Release] Include required legal documents in maintained binary distributions #82–[Supply Chain] Generate an SBOM and automate dependency-license review #85 and [CI/Compliance] Enforce the reusable final-package gate #91 are satisfied.
SightAdapt™may be used as an unregistered product-mark notation;®must not be used.- GitHub Releases remain the authoritative binary source; website and mirrors link to or verify against them.

Website hosting clarification — 2026-09-24
The canonical production website is maintained in KeyffMS/SightAdapt-website and synchronized to the Aiteracja server at https://aiteracja.pl/sightadapt/.
The main KeyffMS/SightAdapt repository retains the GitHub Pages implementation as the non-canonical fallback. #99 therefore remains open only for protected-main Pages deployment and live github.io fallback verification.
#103 is complete independently of the fallback because its compliance pages are published on the canonical production surface.
Downloads completion — 2026-09-24
#104 is complete in KeyffMS/SightAdapt-website at commit 37003af0ae916b6a4cbcdaaad6a9206699d161d5.
The canonical website source now exposes and validates the immutable v0.5.0.50-alpha GitHub Release, official Windows x64 ZIP, SHA-256, SBOM, compliance/legal/privacy files and retained release history. A CI validator checks the live GitHub Release API and the documented withdrawal procedure is maintained with the website source.
