- Line 240: Move creation of saveCtx and cancelSave from before purchase
execution to immediately before SavePurchaseExecution, using the original
context for detachedTimeout. Keep saveCtx available for terminal plan-progress
and refusal-recording operations, and add a test confirming the save timeout
starts after execution crosses the 30-second boundary.

Gate-2 independent review at head 705988f: NOT READY (changes requested) Blocking:
Verified (local, GOTOOLCHAIN=go1.26.9, fixture/mock evidence):
Merge stays blocked on owner item 45 even after the fixes. |

Gate-2 re-review at head 0249ac3: READY, but do not merge yet. Owner item 45 (4m run budget, Lambda timeout >= 270s) is still open; the coordinator merges once the owner answers. Since 705988f, main brought in #778 (EC2/Redshift retry refusal), #765, #769 and #787 (pkg pin 73d3366). The author also added the lint fix and literal-duration bounds in Test B. Checked locally at this SHA (GOTOOLCHAIN=go1.26.9; mock/fixture evidence):

Published the recovered fix at 9eb15eb, tree e9ab132a5d77e5fc8faadfdd9fd45838874d7fed, with the explicitly approved exact force-with-lease. Original local history is preserved. Current main changes only frontend paths since the verified base, with no overlap. The required CI checks still apply normally. Independent cold adversarial review: CLEAN after two passes on this exact SHA. The reviewer attacked all 13 changed files, checking cancellation/deadline propagation, claims and idempotency, auth scope, terminal history/progress, literal timeout assertions, and preservation of mock assertions. Review model was Sol medium under the owner's explicit replacement of the repository's unavailable model requirement. Local macOS verification on the same revision:
Provider calls and authentication credentials were simulated. PostgreSQL, production handler/manager/store code and migrations were real. No live cloud purchase, deployment, or production acceptance is claimed. The previously documented shutdown and RI-exchange follow-ups remain tracked separately. Owner item 45 has been approved. Execution remains bounded to 4 minutes, followed by a fresh 30-second terminal-save/recovery/progress budget; deployed Lambda configuration was verified at 300 seconds. CI watchers are armed for both workflows, and a CodeRabbit watcher accompanies the new review request. |

internal/purchase/execute_detached_test.go: 1
72-106: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | 💤 Low valueThis test takes more than 30 seconds of wall-clock time.
The test sleeps 16 seconds per call across two sequential calls. That makes the unit suite slower on every run, and
t.Parallelis not used. Consider an injectable clock or a smallerterminalSaveTimeoutoverride to keep the unit suite fast. The test is correct as written, so this is optional.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

CodeRabbit completed its review of 9eb15eb with zero actionable findings. The optional slow-test nitpick is intentionally declined: the two serialized 16-second calls each remain inside the provider cap while crossing the production 30-second terminal-save boundary. That real boundary is the regression scenario; moving the save context before execution demonstrably fails after 32.01 seconds. An injected clock or configurable production timeout would add machinery solely for this test and weaken the exact-duration proof. The bounded wall-clock test is retained under the project preference for simple code and literal production-budget regression coverage. No code change or re-review is needed for this optional preference. |
Closes #706
After the purchase claim succeeds, a client disconnect or request deadline must not prevent the provider result from reaching terminal purchase history. Purchase execution now retains request values while using a detached four-minute budget. Terminal save, recovery and plan progress receive a fresh detached 30-second budget after execution/finalization, so execution lasting longer than 30 seconds does not consume the save window. Pre-claim validation/CAS, per-provider caps, claim refusal, guarded saves and no-submission recovery remain intact.
Owner item 45 approved the execution budget and Lambda timeout requirement. The verified environment configuration uses 300 seconds, exceeding the combined 270-second budget.
Verification at 9eb15eb:
The detailed reviewer verdict, mutation evidence and local verification are recorded in the publication comment. Existing limitations remain: process shutdown has a 30-second grace period; a late HTTP response can be lost although the purchase row is persisted; RI-exchange cancellation and scheduled-task concerns are tracked in #790 and #784. This PR does not change deployment or authorize live purchases.
