I've tried the native renderer a couple of times but it crashes quite frequently. I've attached two logs from separate parts of the game, in case that helps. 005 is a crash when running down the road to meet the police at the start of the game. 011 is inside the hotel for the first time, when running down the hallway just outside of my room.
My system is a 7800X3D and an RTX 3080 running driver version 610.88. I tested it at both 1x and 2x resolution, both crashed in the same spots. I have a framerate cap set at 120 and it was at that limit every time I looked. For comparison, the ROV renderer did drop down to 116 fps for a little moment when running down that road, though I don't know exactly how much of a performance difference it gives me due to the cap I've set. The native renderer might run even higher if I didn't limit it.
The native renderer also seemed to lose the sun light after I crashed and reloaded the save just before running down the road. The z-fighting textures in the distance didn't look as bad as ROV, though.
