While playing through the above mentioned section I encountered a crash.

Another crash, a bit later. Switched the native renderer off after the crash above.

Thanks for the logs and both dumps, they help a lot. These are two different crashes, and both happen inside the game's own code, not in the renderer (the second one was on the default renderer).

The first one is the game's main thread running out of stack space. The game gives that thread 256 KB, and at that moment its collision code needed more than that for a single check, so it ran past the end. We'll give the game's threads more room in the next update, which removes this kind of crash.

The second one is the streaming thread reading a loaded file through a pointer that no longer points at valid memory. We can't fix that one blind. If you still have a save from shortly before either crash, please zip the userdata folder next to the game (without userdata\cache) and attach it, and tell us roughly what you were doing (driving, walking, a cutscene, where in town). That lets us reproduce it here.

@michaelbub 2.0.8 is out with the fix for the first crash: the game's threads now get more stack, so that collision check no longer runs out of room. Update from the launcher's Update button, or unzip DPRecomp-2.0.8-win64.zip over your install. For the second crash a save from shortly before it would still help.

I didn't do anything special, just following the dog. It's possible though that the crash happened just before a cut scence was about to start.

Thanks for the save! It's from about six minutes before the second crash, which is exactly what we need. If you have time, could you try to reproduce it on 2.0.11? Save this as test_i39.bat in the game folder (next to deadlyprem.exe) and run it; it starts the game with the default renderer, as in your crash, and skips the intro to the menu:

Load that save and follow the dog the same way. If it crashes again, please attach the newest logs\deadlyprem_XXX.log and the .dmp next to it. If it plays through fine, that's useful to know too.
