needed. Add a `// SAFETY:` comment explaining the invariant for the unsafe block
near the corresponding construction.
- Around line 666-692: Update notify’s send path to check whether standing.held

behind them instead of calling send_frame, preserving delivery order.

failure message and handle output with fewer than 40 lines safely.
- Around line 134-135: Update the Tapper::build calls in the every-join setup to
capture build failures instead of propagating them with `?` from `main`. Route
the failure through the existing summary and shared cleanup flow so
`summary.txt` is written, the host log is copied, and the target is terminated.
- Around line 1529-1537: Set stdout and stderr to piped on the xcodebuild
Command in the tapper run flow before spawning it, so wait_with_output captures
output for the tapper log. Keep the existing arguments and kill_on_drop behavior
unchanged.
- Line 84: Remove the hard-coded TEAM_ID and update Tapper::build to resolve the
signing team from TEAM_ID_VAR, falling back to team_prefix() when the variable
is unavailable; use the resolved team for DEVELOPMENT_TEAM so it matches the
--identity certificate.

`devicectl` entries to select physical devices using
`hardwareProperties.reality` rather than counting hyphens in `udid`. Keep
excluding simulators so supported physical devices with hyphenless UDIDs are
included.
- Around line 511-516: Update the capability collection loop that populates have
to read each item’s attributes.capabilityType instead of its resource id, so the
stored values can match capability types such as APP_ATTEST and HOT_SPOT.
Review comments at @plans/master-implementation-plan.md:

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
A drain that sends nothing loses frames held for unsubscribed centrals, and a full queue skips centrals visited later.
Invariant: a frame stays held until the platform takes it or its central unsubscribes. The handler takes all of held out of STANDING. Then the continue at Line 647 drops every frame for a device missing from the centrals snapshot. Consider a central that subscribed after the snapshot, or a device removed and then re-added. Its queued frames are discarded, but its exchange still waits on them. If send_frame fails for one device, the loop continues to other devices. Those sends also fail, because the platform's transmit queue is shared. This is wasted work and not loss, since those frames are restored too. The loss happens on the continue path only. For a device with no central in the snapshot, put its frames back into held instead of dropping them.

This brings the peer link to iPhone and iPad. An iPhone hosts through its own Personal Hotspot, whose name and password the user types once, and advertises the Bluetooth beacon through a new connetto-peer-apple bridge. An iPad or iPhone joins through the btleplug central over CoreBluetooth and the system's NEHotspotConfiguration join, then links to the host over the hotspot. The plan's R76 decisions 25 to 27 and the iPhone host table record why the beacon carries the service UUID alone, why the network name is typed, and how a host reports an offer nobody landed on.
It was proven on an iPhone 15 Pro Max and an iPad A16 with one unattended run of connetto-ios-proof --every-join: the single-phone proof, then a join by the beacon, by the pasted payload and by the typed form, each linking over the hotspot. An XCUITest tapper answers the system's alerts and switches Personal Hotspot in Settings, and each phone's demo now writes its log to a file the proof copies into the evidence. Those runs also measured what the slice had left open. The iPhone's hotspot is WPA2, NEIPv4Route has no gateway so the bridge reads the routing table, the host's listener answers at 172.20.10.1, and a Personal Hotspot is joined as a hidden network since it hides its name outside its settings pane.
The device proof also needs two fixes against main, #147 for the relay that wrapped TLS twice and #146 for the App Attest reader that refused what an iPhone sends. This branch carries the relay change too, which drops out on the next rebase once that fix merges. The redial and the start-on-Ready central it relies on landed on #137 and #141.
iOS lacked a way to host a peer link through Personal Hotspot and let another Apple device discover and join it. The fix adds an Apple Bluetooth and hotspot bridge, and returns the verified host identity with the join result.
The host advertises a Bluetooth service beacon while the user supplies the hotspot name and passphrase. If no device joins an offered hotspot within the join bound, the client reports
HotspotUnreachedand keeps advertising. The proof runner supports joins by beacon, pasted payload, and typed form.
