Backend Engineer | Data Pipelines | Linux Tinkerer
I'm a final year AI/ML engineering student who prefers living in the terminal. I build backend systems, structure data pipelines, and deploy them on Linux servers. I care about writing efficient SQL, building clean API architectures, and making sure things actually run in production not just on localhost.
- Languages: Python, JavaScript, SQL
- Backend & Data: FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Pandas, Vector Indexing, ETL Workflows
- Infrastructure: Linux (Ubuntu), Docker, Nginx, DigitalOcean
- Tools: VS Code, Git, Bash
Built a scalable backend to ingest, chunk, and embed documents for vector search. Exposed the workflow via REST APIs and deployed the containerized system on a Linux VPS.
- Focus: Scalability, chunking logic, Docker multi-stage builds.
Designed the backend for an API-first conversational scheduling system integrated with Google Calendar.
- Focus: Async processing, structured request validation, API reliability.
I enjoy working close to the system layer. When I'm not writing Python, I'm usually debugging Nginx configs, managing Linux processes, or experimenting with containerization.
Currently leveling up in: Advanced PostgreSQL performance tuning, Docker Compose architectures, and Linux networking internals.
