0.4.0 is now public on npm and GitHub, latest=next=0.4.0, and Issue #1 is completed and closed. This updates the paired maintenance instructions, release evidence and historical task handoff so future work uses the published baseline instead of repeating finished tasks.

Validation: both public installation specs matched all15 packed files, passed28 real host checks each and the complete actual browser workflow; release-point Windows/Linux × Node20/22 CI and57 tests passed. The seven edited Markdown files passed37 relative-link checks and git diff --check. No source, lib or package metadata changes.
The immutable release point remains3d7ec4aafffbe5be0dfc92e26e49bae287636d28. Do not move v0.4.0 or republish for this evidence-only merge. Optional mount-prefix/slow-Web cancellation and untested host/model coverage remain explicitly documented.
