Introduction to AI concepts for developers and technology professionals

This repo contains exercises and supporting files for Microsoft skilling content.

The exercises may be used in both self-paced skilling experiences on Microsoft AI Skills Navigator and in Microsoft authorized instructor-led training.

These exercises make use of in-browser apps in the AI Apps repo.

Important: The apps used in these labs are not supported Microsoft services or products. They are educational resources to support practical exercises in training courses; and are provided as-is without warranty of any kind. Performance issues and occasional failures are to be expected. In older or lower-spec computers, they may run slowly or not at all.

Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals Exercises

This repository contains instructions and assets for hands-on exercises in the Microsoft Official Courseware to support the associated training modules on Microsoft AI Skills Navigator.

Notes for AI-901 trainers

The course, AI-901: Introduction to AI in Azure, is designed as a 1-day course that includes interactive lab experiences; including labs in this repo.

Note: Lab repo's in GitHub are no longer mapped 1:1 with ILT courses. The labs support multiple learning modalities, and ILT courses may use a subset of labs from one or more repo's.

The AI-901 course includes conceptual labs from this repo, and Microsoft Foundry-based labs from https://github.com/MicrosoftLearning/mslearn-ai-fundamentals. In one-day deliveries, you're likely only to have time to include a subset of these labs; and we recommend the Foundry-based ones in the mslearn-ai-fundamentals repo. However, you may consider using the conceptual labs in this repo as demo's, as additional further exploration for learners, or as fallback labs in the event of technical issues providing students with access to a functional Azure environment.

In official deliveries, the labs are provided in a hosted environment by an authorized lab hoster (ALH). The lab instructions are also available for self-paced / unhosted completion in the following GitHub Page sites:

Note: If you encounter issues with the lab content (inaccurate instructions/screenshots, grammatical issues, out-of-date code, and so on), create an issue in the repo containing the lab. If you encounter issues related to the lab hosting environment (performance/reliability, Azure policy restrictions, and so on), please raise an issue with your lab hoster.

Contributing to this repo

Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) are welcome to submit issues and PRs related to content or assets in this repo, subject to the guidance in the GitHub User Guide for MCTs. Trainers should bear in mind that the repo is designed to support self-paced learners on Microsoft Learn as well as students in instructor-led courses, and that some of the exercises in the repo are not included in the hosted lab profiles for classroom delivery. Issues relating to configuration or performance of lab environments provided by ALHs are not supported here - contact your ALH if you experience problems related to the hosted lab environment.
