This code was used for the manuscript "Spinal Cord Stimulation Improves Deceleration Phase Control during Targeted Reaching Post-Stroke" by Refy et al. (2025), medRxiv.

The code was written in MATLAB, and virtual arm simulations were implemented in Simulink.

The code for the optimal feedback control theory (OFC) simulations (Figure 7) is in the folder OFC_simulations. The rest of the folders is for gain fitting (Figures 3-6).

Run the OFC simulations by running optimize_model_gains.m

Run model fits by running main.m in main. Example data from a healthy participant is provided.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this code at omar.refy@sund.ku.dk

Correspondence regarding the study should be addressed to Douglas J Weber at dweber2@andrew.cmu.edu
