Looks good! Sorry I reacted so late, after we moved the repo, notifications were off!

Summary
12PSSSS5serial and UOID structures alongside12PSSSS3and12PSSSS42026-04-17HWCONFIG calendar-shaped valueRelation to existing reports
Related to #21 and provides a narrower, evidence-backed alternative to #23.
PR #23 correctly identifies that the digit after
12PSSSSis not limited to3and4, but widens the pattern to[3-9]. This change accepts only the directly observed set[345]. It also adds the2026-04-17HWCONFIG date required by the same physical unit, plus regression coverage and the repository's compatibility documentation.Physical evidence
The fifth camera is an
EF-S7-V1.0.30Bunit with manufacturing code2526, an Ingenic T23 processor, and an 8 MiBZB25VQ64D-family SPI NOR reporting JEDEC ID5e4017. Before recovery it did not enumerate as a USB device.Three consecutive 8 MiB reads were acquired at 1 MHz without moving the SOIC-8 clip. They are byte-for-byte identical with SHA-256:

Safety rationale
--forcepath is introduced2and6and an unobserved valid date remain explicitly rejected in testsserial.cfg, complete serial, or complete UOID is committedValidation
