What happened?
Explanation
Defect Description
OpenStrap Edge fails to parse or display detailed physiological data from workouts imported via Apple Health. While natively recorded workouts successfully generate comprehensive data blocks, imported third-party workouts omit critical metrics including Heart Rate Zones and Maximum Heart Rate.
Expected Result
Workouts ingested from Apple Health must extract and display all available health kit metric streams (Heart Rate Zones, Average HR, Max HR, Strain) identically to workouts initiated directly within the OpenStrap Edge application.
Actual Result
Imported Apple Health payloads render incomplete data summaries.
The "Traditional Strength Training" workout, imported from the third-party application Hevy, displays only Time (1:36:43) and Calories (368 kcal). It completely omits the "TIME IN ZONES" UI block and "MAX HR" metrics that are actively rendering on the natively recorded "Walking" workouts above and below it.
The detail view of a natively tracked workout confirms the application's UI infrastructure to render Avg HR, Max HR, HR Recovery, and Strain. This data pipeline fails to populate for imported health kit objects.
Steps to reproduce
- Record a workout utilizing a third-party application integrated with Apple Health.
- Launch OpenStrap Edge and execute an Apple Health data synchronization.
- Navigate to the Workout summary feed.
- Open the imported third-party workout.
- Observe the absence of Heart Rate Zones, HR Recovery, Strain, and Heart Rate data metrics compared to a native session.
