The OpenRouter provider already accepts a custom OPENROUTER_BASE_URL, so it works with any OpenAI-compatible gateway. Document Requesty (https://requesty.ai) as an example: set OPENROUTER_BASE_URL=https://router.requesty.ai/v1 and use a Requesty API key. Bilingual (zh/en) note added next to OPENROUTER_BASE_URL in .env.example. No code changes.

Why not a separate provider?
A full
requestyclient would duplicate the existing 489-lineOpenRouterClient(and its Google-AI format conversion) for no behavioral gain, since the OpenRouter client is already base-URL-configurable. Documenting the existing knob is the right-sized change.Tested
I verified the claim end-to-end: built the project (
npm run build) and ran the compiledOpenRouterClientwithbaseUrl='https://router.requesty.ai/v1'against the live endpoint — it returns HTTP 200 with a correct unified response (gpt-4o-miniviaopenai/gpt-4o-mini).Disclosure
