🌊 Panta Rhei Books — First Edition Website

This repository currently hosts the live public website for the first edition of the Panta Rhei Books series.

🔗 Live website: panta-rhei-books.org

What this repository is

This repository contains the Jekyll-based public site for the first edition of the seven-volume Panta Rhei Books series.

It is currently the live website because the previous hosted author-page setup has been retired, and the first-edition public surface now runs directly from GitHub Pages.

Transitional status

This repository is a transitional live surface.

For the next short period, it remains the public home of the first edition website while the broader Panta Rhei framework Atlas is being built and prepared for launch.

After the second-edition Atlas launches:

  • this repository will no longer be the main public website
  • the primary framework website will move to the site repository
  • this repository will be retained as a historical first-edition archive

Relationship to the broader framework

The first-edition website is part of the public history of the project, but it is not the final long-term framework surface.

The broader public architecture of the project is being developed across the Panta Rhei organization, including:

  • site — the future framework Atlas delivery surface
  • books — canonical build lane
  • topics — topic projection lane
  • results — results atlas lane
  • papers — official paper surface
  • formalization — official formalization surface

Scope of this repository

This repository is specifically for the first-edition public website and its direct website assets.

It should not be treated as the long-term source-of-truth repo for the broader Panta Rhei Atlas architecture.

Long-term plan

Once the new framework-first public site goes live:

  • the public domain routing will move to the new Atlas surface
  • this repository will remain available as a preserved first-edition website archive
  • the README and repo metadata can then be updated again to reflect archive status explicitly
