It is not intended to replace common baseline tools such as CTT WinUtil or Winhance. Use those for broad setup and debloating, then use ZapTweaks for deeper gaming, latency, hardware, networking, graphics, power, diagnostics, and recovery workflows. Both companion tools can be launched or installed from ZapTweaks itself.
- Fluent UI desktop app built for Windows 11.
- Advanced gaming, CPU, GPU, networking, timer, power, privacy, and shell controls.
- Hardware-aware availability for Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA systems.
- Apply/revert support and state verification for toggle-based tweaks.
- Restore-point gate for aggressive operations.
- Dry-run mode for command validation without system changes.
- Live CPU and RAM dashboard plus per-adapter GPU/VRAM readings, GPU selection, and explicit unavailable-data states.
- Bundled diagnostics, installers, scripts, power plans, and recovery tools.
- Built-in update checks with official-source validation, streaming download progress, and SHA-256/size verification before installation.
- App catalog refreshes from this repository without a new app release, with validated metadata, offline cache, and bundled fallback.
- Multi-app installation/uninstallation plans retain independent snapshots and rollback state.
- UI language selection for English, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Russian, and Simplified Chinese.
- 91 bundled power plans with import, activation, and previous-plan restore.
- Direct access to CTT WinUtil and Winhance for complementary baseline work.
The interface is available in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Russian, and Simplified Chinese. Select a language from Settings; the choice is saved locally.

Download the installer or portable package from GitHub Releases.
Install the latest release from an elevated PowerShell window:
irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/PrimeBuild-pc/ZapTweaks/main/scripts/installer-latest.ps1 | iexThe app store, global search, and guided setup share a catalog fetched from this repository's main branch. Refresh the app inventory to check for catalog changes. Only validated app metadata, HTTPS links, and package identities are accepted; remote commands or scripts are rejected. A cached or bundled catalog remains available offline. External utilities show requirements/warnings where supplied and are not reported as installed or absent when their state cannot be detected.
The updater and PowerShell installer verify the exact official release asset, its size, and the SHA-256 digest supplied by GitHub's HTTPS release API before launch. The desktop updater also restricts redirects to GitHub asset hosts and rechecks the file immediately before execution. This is integrity verification against GitHub metadata, not Authenticode code signing. Releases include SHA256SUMS.txt for manual verification.
ZapTweaks exposes advanced settings that can affect stability, security, power use, and network behavior. Read each description, create restore points when requested, and avoid applying changes you do not understand. NIC and device power-saving toggles create a local backup before changing state. Remote-script actions display a warning before execution.
VBIOS and NVRAM tools are launcher-only: ZapTweaks does not bundle them, choose firmware images, or run flash commands. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
