Closes #1635, closes #1636.

  • engineRangeAllows glues an operator (>=, <=, >, <, =, ^) to the version that follows it before splitting, so >= 0.4.0 < 3.0.0 reads like >=0.4.0 <3.0.0. A bare operator is still an unsupported range (null).
  • HostVersion implements operator >; _comparatorAllows uses > and <= directly instead of negated comparisons.
  • Tests for both.

Clean enhancement for extension compatibility handling:

  1. Range Operator Gluer (marketplace_download_policy.dart):

    • Permitting spaces after range operators (e.g. >= 0.4.0 < 3.0.0) conforms to standard semantic versioning specs in extension manifests.
  2. HostVersion Ordering:

    • Native implementation of operator > simplifies comparator logic and avoids error-prone inverted <= / < conditions.
