🧠 About Me

I'm a Computational Analytics student at Ohio State interested in machine learning, statistical modeling, and high-performance computing.

I enjoy working on problems where the mathematics and the implementation are both interesting. A lot of my projects involve some combination of numerical computing, optimization, parallelism, machine learning, and systems programming.

I've worked with computer vision, Gibbs sampling, regression, energy-based models, graphics, parallel algorithms, and approximate nearest neighbors, among other things.

Right now, I'm spending most of my time on Deepity — a performance-oriented ML and ANN library built around efficient numerical computation.

Outside of programming, I like anime, science fiction, and generally going down very specific rabbit holes on things that catch my interest.

🔮 Deepity

A lightweight, performance-oriented machine learning and approximate-nearest-neighbor library.

Deepity is written with a focus on efficient numerical computation and makes use of OpenBLAS and OpenMP for performance-critical operations, with additional support for other numerical backends where useful.

The project is an ongoing exploration of how much performance can be extracted from relatively small, focused implementations without bringing along an entire general-purpose ML framework.
