The README currently opens with an old Outlook support complaint and lists development commands that no longer exist. Lead with the viewer's purpose, screenshot, web app, and desktop downloads; keep a short account of why it was built.
Update the feature overview and Vite/Tauri development instructions, credit the underlying libraries, and replace the old competitor comparisons and subscription screenshots with issue-reporting guidance. Clarify that local parsing does not prevent remote images or update checks from making network requests.
Validation: checked documented npm scripts and relative links against the repository, verified release installer formats, inspected the existing screenshot, and ran Prettier plus
git diff --check. Only README.md changes.
