we have updated the initial file creation to happen inside server.js entirely, so the start.bat really does not need to be doing all that it was originally. same for your proposed start.sh both of them should simply be doing:
however the remotelink.sh is good to have. |

A pretty straightforward conversion of the two start scripts to bash. Tested on my setup, works without issues.
