I build software across the stack — from full-stack web applications and mobile apps to native desktop software, C++ terminal applications, graphics, APIs, automation, and developer tools.
My background is a little unconventional. Alongside several years of independent software development, I work in CNC programming and manufacturing, where I use software, scripting, automation, and systems-level troubleshooting to solve real production problems.
I enjoy understanding how things work beneath the surface, building systems from the ground up, and taking projects well beyond the prototype stage.
These are a few of the projects that best represent how I approach software: build something useful, understand the systems underneath it, and keep pushing the project further.
A full-stack productivity platform built as an installable Progressive Web App.
Calendar Next Gen brings calendars, reminders, tasks, lists, Kanban boards, sticky notes, notifications, and social features into a single application.
What started as a calendar has grown into one of my largest software projects and a place where I continually explore application architecture, backend services, background processing, authentication, notifications, and complex client-side state.
Engineering highlights
- React + Vite frontend
- Node.js + Express backend
- Prisma data layer
- Redis
- REST APIs
- Google OAuth and Calendar integration
- Web Push notifications
- Cron-based background processing
- PWA and service-worker architecture
Stack: React · Node.js · Express · Prisma · Redis · Tailwind CSS
A native C++ desktop drawing application built with GTKmm and OpenGL.
Sketch-It explores a very different part of software development from my web projects: native desktop UI, graphics programming, compiled applications, external libraries, and native build tooling.
The project uses GTKmm for its application interface and OpenGL for graphics, with CMake handling the build process.
Engineering highlights
- Native C++ desktop application
- GTKmm 4 interface
- OpenGL graphics
- JSON integration with nlohmann/json
- CMake build system
- Linux-native development workflow
Stack: C++ · GTKmm · OpenGL · CMake · JSON · Linux
A terminal-first notes application written in C++.
CPP Notes is an ongoing exploration of lower-level application development. Rather than treating C++ as a collection of exercises, I'm building a real application around filesystem navigation, terminal interfaces, configuration, networking, authentication, and eventually remote synchronization.
Engineering highlights
- Interactive terminal interface with ncurses
- Filesystem-based note management
- Custom terminal text editor
- HTTP/network communication with libcurl
- Configuration and authentication systems
- Remote synchronization architecture
Stack: C++ · ncurses · libcurl · Bash · Linux · Clang
The projects above show depth. The rest of my GitHub gets considerably broader.
A React Native / Expo notes application with hierarchical folders, SQLite storage, device authentication, and a custom rich-text editor built by bridging React Native with an HTML/JavaScript environment inside a WebView.

Software isn't limited to my personal projects.
In manufacturing, I program and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC systems and work with CAD/CAM software including Rhino and Mastercam. I've also used Python, C#/.NET, C++, scripting, and application APIs to automate workflows and improve repeatability.
That experience has shaped how I approach software engineering. Software eventually has to interact with real systems, real constraints, and real users — and I enjoy working at that intersection.
I'm particularly interested in software that makes me understand something new.
That has led me through full-stack architecture, mobile development, graphics, C++, databases, networking, terminal interfaces, authentication, real-time communication, automation, and developer tooling.
I don't want to know only how to use a framework. I want to understand the systems underneath it and become a stronger engineer with every project I build.
