13-task plan covering Windows GUI subsystem fix, platform-specific process detach, archive extraction refactor, and native app shortcuts (Windows .lnk, macOS .app bundle, Linux .desktop files).
Implements the non-Windows startProcess() that spawns the tray binary as a fully detached background process using cmd.Process.Release().
