v6.1.4 is ready for the explicitly authorized formal release. Date the changelog, update the English and Chinese download guidance, and disclose that the Windows packages are unsigned because Azure signing credentials are unavailable.
The shipping-version guard now reads the version's changelog heading and checks the corresponding candidate or stable README status. This keeps version consistency enforced when a candidate becomes a dated release. Both README FAQs also describe the actual signature status and avoid claiming every antivirus detection is a false positive.
The release will use the existing manual pipeline with
skip_signing=trueandskip_tests=false. WebView2 remains the default; the Electron compatibility installer is separate, macOS support remains paused, and final asset hashes are generated after packaging.Validation: all nine packaging contract tests and all six existing release-note tests pass; the repository Unicode check passes across 2,267 files. The integrated application source is unchanged from PR #207; the merged master build additionally passed all 18 installer scenarios with no recovery failures and zero build warnings or errors. The original untracked diagnostic snapshot is preserved. Complete PR checks must pass before merge.
