Follow-up to the two Dependabot security bumps (PRs #3/#4). Those cleared the next/og RCE and the axios cluster, but GitHub still held open advisories against the graph main now carries. next 16.3.6 -> 16.3.8 clears six advisories (incl. the HIGH Image Optimization SSRF GHSA-cjq9-62q9-8jv4) that were only patched in 16.3.8; eslint-config-next moves to 16.3.8 to match next, as in cc255f8. Transitive pins added to the pnpm-workspace.yaml overrides: - brace-expansion ^1.1.21 / ^5.0.12, selector-scoped per major: the quadratic "{a},b}" rewrite DoS hits the 1.x line (via minimatch 3) and the 5.x line (via minimatch 10) - source-map-js 1.2.1 -> ^1.2.2 (event-loop DoS via section offsets) - prosemirror-view 1.42.1 -> ^1.42.3 (XSS in paste handling, via tiptap) - postcss-selector-parser 6.x -> ^7.1.6 (quadratic flat-selector parsing). No patched release was ever cut on the 6.x line, so this is the one override that intentionally crosses a major; the tailwind / postcss-nested CSS pipeline builds clean on it. braces (CVE-2026-93687) has no patched release upstream yet, so that alert stays open until a fix ships. Verified: pnpm install --frozen-lockfile, tsc --noEmit, eslint (0 errors), vitest (59 tests), next build.
