- Public profile enrichment: Add username, display name, bio, profile image, website, and country context to records connected to known profile URLs.
- Account footprint comparison: Compare visible follower, following, board, and saved counts across a selected set of public profiles.
- Public profile monitoring: Store identity fields and visible metrics with collected_at to compare profile presentation and account signals across collection times.
- Create profile directories: Group selected public accounts by identity, linked website, country context, and visible account signals for structured research.
- Submit one or more public Pinterest profile URLs with exactly one non-reserved username path segment.
- Pin URLs,
pin.itlinks, search pages, ideas pages, and other reserved Pinterest paths are not accepted as profile inputs. - Biography, website, imagery, country context, and visible account metrics are optional public fields.
- Each result is a point-in-time public snapshot; retain
collected_atwhen comparing profile changes.
All requests use the shared asynchronous flow:

data.status becomes succeeded or failed, then continue with
data.results.next_cursor while data.results.has_more is true.
The Node.js and Python programs implement the production-shaped happy path:
- Load and validate configuration.
- Submit the endpoint-specific payload.
- Retry rate-pressure and transient server responses with bounded backoff.
- Poll the asynchronous task with a ten-minute application timeout.
- Stop cleanly on a failed task and surface the public error message.
- Read all cursor pages instead of silently returning only the first page.
- Write a stable JSON artifact containing task metadata and normalized records.
Use the synthetic files in fixtures/ for tests and documentation. They do
not contain customer, account, or production data.
